*ओंकारानंद इंस्टीट्यूट में लैंगिक समानता पर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला आयोजित*

ओंकारानंद इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमेंट एंड टेक्नोलॉजी में 17 मार्च 2025 को लैंगिक समानता पर एक कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें लैंगिक समानता पर विचार-विमर्श किया गया। शिक्षा विभाग द्वारा आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में अज़ीम प्रेमजी फाउंडेशन, डोईवाला, देहरादून का विशेष सहयोग रहा।
कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथियों का स्वागत संस्थान के निदेशक डॉ पी.के. राठी ने पुष्पगुच्छ भेंट करके किया। इसके बाद छात्र छात्राओं ने विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम किए।
कार्यशाला की शुरुआत फाउंडेशन के समन्वयक श्री संजय नौटियाल ने की, जिन्होंने समाज में लैंगिक समानता की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। इसके बाद रिसोर्स पर्सन प्रतिभा जी और संजय नौटियाल जी ने छात्र-छात्राओं को इंटरएक्टिव एक्टिविटीज के माध्यम से जेंडर असमानता को समझने और इससे निपटने के उपायों पर चर्चा की।
इस दौरान छात्र-छात्राओं ने खुद के भीतर मौजूद पूर्वाग्रहों को पहचाना, समाज में फैली पितृसत्तात्मक सोच को समझा और लैंगिक समानता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सक्रिय भागीदारी की शपथ ली।
इस कार्यशाला ने छात्र-छात्राओं के दृष्टिकोण को नया आयाम दिया और उन्हें लैंगिक समानता के संवाहक बनने के लिए प्रेरित किया। यह पहल समाज में व्याप्त जेंडर असमानता को खत्म करने और एक न्यायसंगत भविष्य की ओर कदम बढ़ाने का सार्थक प्रयास साबित हुई।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन बी. एड. की छात्रा प्रीति द्वारा किया गया। इस आयोजन में डॉ विकास गैरोला,डॉ. रितेश चौधरी, प्रिंसिपल डॉ. संतोष डबराल, प्रमोद उनियाल, नवीन द्विवेदी, श्री विजयकांत ममगाईं, योगाचार्य नीतू मिश्रा, श्रीमती संगीता पाण्डेय, प्रियंका देशवाल, विकी सिंह, आयुषी थापा, अजीत नेगी, इति गुप्ता सहित कई अतिथियों ने अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई।
A workshop on gender equality was organized at Omkaranand Institute of Management and Technology on 17 March 2025, in which gender equality was discussed. This program organized by the Education Department had the special support of Azim Premji Foundation, Doiwala, Dehradun.
The chief guests were welcomed by the Director of the Institute, Dr. PK Rathi, by presenting a bouquet. After this, the students performed various cultural programs.
The workshop was started by the coordinator of the Foundation, Mr. Sanjay Nautiyal, who emphasized the need for gender equality in society. After this, resource persons Pratibha ji and Sanjay Nautiyal ji discussed with the students about understanding gender inequality and ways to deal with it through interactive activities.
During this, the students recognized the prejudices present within themselves, understood the patriarchal thinking prevalent in the society and took an oath of active participation to promote gender equality.
This workshop gave a new dimension to the perspectives of the students and inspired them to become the carriers of gender equality. This initiative proved to be a meaningful effort to eliminate gender inequality prevalent in the society and move towards a just future.
The program was conducted by B.Ed. student Preeti. Dr. Vikas Gairola, Dr. Ritesh Chaudhary, Principal Dr. Santosh Dabral, Pramod Uniyal, Naveen Dwivedi, Mr. Vijaykant Mamgain, Yogacharya Neetu Mishra, Mrs. Sangeeta Pandey, Priyanka Deshwal, Vicky Singh, Ayushi Thapa, Ajit Negi, Iiti Gupta and many other guests made their presence in this event.
