*ओआईएमटी रोटरेक्ट क्लब एवं हिमाद्री फाउंडेशन ने चलाया स्वच्छता अभियान, बैराज कॉलोनी में जुटाया कूड़ा-कबाड़*
देवभूमि जेके न्यूज 7 अप्रैल 2025: ओआईएमटी रोटरेक्ट क्लब एवं हिमाद्री फाउंडेशन के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आज गंगा आरोग्य अभियान के अंतर्गत एक स्वच्छता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। यह अभियान बैराज कॉलोनी, ऋषिकेश क्षेत्र में चलाया गया, जिसमें दोनों संगठनों के कुल 13 सदस्यों ने सक्रिय सहभागिता निभाई।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान प्रतिभागियों ने नदी किनारे फैले कूड़े-कबाड़ को इकट्ठा कर न केवल क्षेत्र की सफाई की, बल्कि आम जनमानस को स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूक भी किया। इस अवसर पर हिमाद्री फाउंडेशन के अध्यक्ष श्री प्रतीक वर्मा ने सभी स्वयंसेवकों को भविष्य में भी इस प्रकार के कार्यक्रमों में भाग लेने हेतु प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने बताया कि इससे पूर्व भी त्रिवेणी घाट, नीम बीच, गोवा बीच जैसे कई प्रमुख स्थलों पर इस प्रकार के अभियान चलाए जा चुके हैं, जिससे समाज में सफाई के प्रति सकारात्मक संदेश प्रसारित हुआ है।
श्री वर्मा ने कहा, “पर्यटक स्थलों की स्वच्छता हमारी सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी है। जब देश-विदेश से आने वाले पर्यटक इन स्थलों पर स्वच्छता देखेंगे, तभी हमारी सांस्कृतिक एवं प्राकृतिक धरोहर की सही छवि उनके समक्ष उभरेगी।” उन्होंने स्थानीय नागरिकों एवं पर्यटकों से अपील की कि गंगा नदी एवं इसके तटवर्ती क्षेत्रों को स्वच्छ रखने में योगदान दें।
इस अवसर पर ओआईएमटी रोटरेक्ट क्लब के कोषाध्यक्ष ध्रुव बंसल ने भी सभी सदस्यों के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए उनका आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि क्लब भविष्य में भी शहर के अन्य क्षेत्रों में इसी प्रकार के सफाई अभियानों का संचालन करता रहेगा।
यह स्वच्छता कार्यक्रम न केवल पर्यावरण संरक्षण की दिशा में एक प्रेरणास्पद कदम रहा, बल्कि समाज को स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूक करने का भी एक उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण बना।
Devbhoomi JK News 7 April 2025: A cleanliness program was organized today under the Ganga Arogya Abhiyan under the joint aegis of OIM Rotaract Club and Himadri Foundation. This campaign was run in Barrage Colony, Rishikesh area, in which a total of 13 members of both the organizations took active participation.
During the program, the participants not only cleaned the area by collecting garbage spread on the river bank, but also made the general public aware about cleanliness. On this occasion, the President of Himadri Foundation, Mr. Pratik Verma inspired all the volunteers to participate in such programs in future as well. He told that even before this, such campaigns have been run at many major places like Triveni Ghat, Neem Beach, Goa Beach, which has spread a positive message towards cleanliness in the society.
Mr Verma said, “Cleanliness of tourist places is our collective responsibility. When tourists coming from India and abroad will see cleanliness at these places, only then the true image of our cultural and natural heritage will emerge in front of them.” He appealed to the local citizens and tourists to contribute in keeping the Ganga river and its coastal areas clean.
On this occasion, OIMt Rotaract Club treasurer Dhruv Bansal also appreciated the efforts of all the members and thanked them. He said that the club will continue to conduct similar cleanliness campaigns in other areas of the city in future as well.
This cleanliness program was not only an inspiring step towards environmental protection, but also became an excellent example of making the society aware about cleanliness.
